SCABOF was established in 1973 in Chiuduno by Mr and Mrs Boffelli.
Today, after 40 years, the Boffelli family, now the second generation, continues to run a successful business and have made SCABOF an industry leader in the production of buttons and accessories for the Italian and international markets.
SCABOF has expanded progressively, broadening its specialist offer in the production of buttons for men, women and children using a variety of raw material, including natural materials such as horn, corozo, wood, and synthetic materials which SCABOF has learnt to produce with the natural and genuine feel, shine, and authenticity that imitates the natural world impeccably.
Production of raw materials
Synthetic products, such as those made of polyester, resin and similar materials, are created by transforming the raw material produced directly from the liquid resin in our production department. Our products are the result of the research of our chemists, who have developed production methods that make the products of extremely high quality and unique on the market.
SCABOF’s creative perceptiveness goes hand in hand with years of experience: although the finished products are manufactured entirely in a highly technological environment, at the same time the vast experience of the artisans working on them goes in to making a product with a rich hand-crafted feel, which our prestigious clientele demands.
The new offices, which opened in Chiuduno in 2013, guarantee highly professional logistical organisation and service.
